About Us

Santhwanam Charitable Society, formed in the year 1996 at Muttom in Cheppad Village, Alappuzha Dist, Kerala is well-known for its benevolent activities for the last 25 years. It has continuously been making a number of effective interventions for promoting the welfare of the less fortunate and downtrodden segment of the society. This movement proved its presence in Central Kerala as a support for the marginalized, a touch of love for the sick and a companion for the lonely. All these achievements are through the selfless effort of 25 life members of Santhwanam and the endless support of kind hearted philanthropists in and around, who have a deep sense of compassion and fellow feeling in their mind towards the under privileged. During this period, this organisation supported thousands of helpless people without any consideration to caste, creed, color, religion and politics.
